Regardless whether the Lansing government is Mayor focused or City Council focused, transparency relative to our digital age is a must.
Lansing stays affordable because its people own the water and electric services through the BWL (Board of Water and Light). Keeping these services affordable in the future means we need to keep owning them.
City departments need to be watched and checked by groups from outside Lansing, not just by themselves and other residents.
Lansing Residents need homes that are stable and not too expensive. We have to make sure our city helps homeless people in a way that respects their dignity and personhood.
Help Lansing residents who are having trouble with Michigan and Federal assistance programs. We need to make sure our city helps people if they can't get what they need.
